Guests are encouraged to wear attire that fits a black tie optional dress code. For men, that means dark suit, shirt and tie if it’s not a tuxedo. For women, that means a floor-length gown, knee-length cocktail dress, a pantsuit, or dressy separates.

Are children welcome?

We respectfully request no children under 16 at the reception. Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair. There will be nanny resources made available to contact at your own discretion should you choose to bring your little ones on the trip to San Miguel de Allende.

What is the weather like during November in San Miguel de Allende?

Historically, the weather during the day tends to be mid to high 70F/21C and mid to low 50F/10C in the evening. There is no rain during this time, as it is considered the dry season.

What is La Callejoneada?

Typically a prelude to almost every ceremony is a callejoneada, a parade in which the wedding party wanders through cobblestoned streets, tequila in hand, smiles alit, and voices singing. Giant mojigangas—papier-mâché puppets towering 10 feet in the air and dancing wildly—will visually announce the callejoneada, then you’ll start to hear the mariachi tunes. An adorable burro, adorned with colorful paper flowers, pulls a tequila cart from which all attendees indulge.

RECOMMENDATION ON WHAT TO WEAR THIS EVENT:
Traditionally, it is recommended that guests wear white and comfortable shoes as there will be plenty of walking on the traditional cobblestoned streets.
